everyone at schools always say im spoilt but i dont see how and why they say it…it started when i got this watch for christmas that cost about £70 then i may i saw another one i wanted this really nice DKNY one that cost £125 n after that peopel called me spoilt n a rich bitch…also they say it coz i bought a school bag for £60 and school shoes for £60…i buy most of these with my own money aswell so thats why i say im not spoilt but others think differently…im not braggin i just want to know if you would call me spoilt or not???
they dont give it me n i dont earn it…iv just got it lol
n thanks everyone but i noticed i spelt it wrong after i posted it XD

It depends on how old you are and the word is spoiled. If you are going around bragging to your friends that you got these things than yes you are spoiled. IF you can't have anything UNLESS it's expensive or UNLESS it's a name brand then YES you are spoiled. IF you do nothing but sit around the house like a lump and don't help out and get things YES you are spoiled. BUT if you earn them, don't brag about them, can be grateful even if they aren't expensive or name brands and you give back to others (not just monitary or material things) than NO you aren't spoiled.

No of course not if you really bought the stuff with your own money. I work hard for my money, and I like to by myself nice things and I don't think there's a problem with it. Have fun and enjoy your stuff.

Having good taste and spending money you've saved (earned also?) are fine qualities. School-aged kids tend to be immature and entertain themselves by setting someone apart and making fun or talking trash about them. Somehow you've got to let them say what they do without taking it to heart or letting it bother you.
    They're JEALOUS! Um-hum, JEALOUS.
    The little twits.

Well it all depends what attitude you use when you show up with your new gadgets. If you want to buy something nice is ok but don't go and show it to everyone.
You have the right to buy and wear what you want and people shouldn't be looking at your outfit but on how nice you are with them.
Try to think if you really are a good friend with them, analize yourself or ask someone you trust

"they dont give it me n i dont earn it…iv just got it lol" that doesnt make any sense…you don't just have money. that would be great but it doesnt work that way. either you earned it, i'm guessing not though, or your parents or someone else gave it to you. define "my own money." if you work for your money, even doing chores or something then it's yours. if your parents give you money then it's not yours.

Well if you are buying it with your own money, you are not spoiled. (which is the right way to spell spoiled not spoilt). You may be spoiled, even I am pretty spoiled. But as long as you appreciate everything you have and realize how lucky you are to have it, then you are not the bad version of spoiled. Or I guess it would be that you aren't a spoiled brat.

To all the people thinking that's a euro sign, it's a pound sign.
One pound is like 2 dollars.

To the question: Why would you buy shoes for 60 pounds? That's crazy! I guess you're not that spoiled if you bought it with your own money, though.

    No, you're not spoiled.

Either that, or I am. And almost everyone I know. It seems normal to me.
