What do you think about these coats? Which one looks the best?

the second one in the brown option

I love the second choice that is solid color. I like all the design details like the knit collar, the center back button on the shoulder flap and the lighter topstitching on the seams. The way it is constructed would be slenderizing, too. Besides, as popular as plaid is right now, solid color coats will look better with far more outfits.

I put a link to a really trendy military style coat that comes in red and has a fabulous toasty warm high collar. It is also a style that you could wear chunky cardigans under without feeling like a little sausage. I love to wear red coats since they always put me in a happy, confident mood when everything is cold and snowy outside.

    the DKNY one is really cute and I like the design of it more.
    BUT I think the brown would go with more outfits

    go with a coat based on whats already in your closet.
    then imagine wearing those clothes which each coat on. Which looks better???

    I like the first one. Looks casual and cool. And this sort of pea coat material is also great for the winter, as the material keeps one warm, but also has weaving to make the body breath.

    Hmmm it depends on what look you are going for, because both are very different.

    I would choose the J. Lo jacket from Overstock.com because it looks very sophisticated and chic. It looks like you should be strolling through New York City in that coat :)

    However if you want more of a fun, light-hearted look then I would go for the DKNY coat. The print gives it a "fun & girly" feel.
