I have AND1 basketball shoes and ever since I started wearing them my ankles started hurting. Is this because of the shoe brand or just some freak thing happening with my ankles? I started wearing them in August for a basketball camp, I didn’t notice it as much then because I thought it was just going to go away. But now as I start the basketball season I realized the pain wasn’t going away. Any help?
Also if you could please leave me suggestions for a better pair. btw I’m a girl. womens size 7 or 7.5
no sry you might just have to buy some new basketball shoes. And1s usally dont have grip or stablility. If I were you I would invest in some sharkleys

They are not the best, but they are decent shoes for those who play occassionally.
Don’t put too much on brands. The reality is that everyone’s foot is shape differently. The most expensive pair of shoes make suck on your feet.
The most important thing is to try them on in the store and see if they are comfortable. People pay alot of attention to the bottom of the shoe of not enough time about the ankle part. Most of the people that I know who have bad fitting shoe have poor fitting ankles just like you.
Try out ALL the brands, The well known ones like Nike, Converse, Reeboks etc, but also try on the cheap ones. If the cheap ones fit you better, then THEY are the better shoes…..for you at least.
FYI, the best shoes I ever gotten were a pair of Fila’s. It fitted my feet perfectly.
